Saxophonist, composer and conductor

Tomaž Nedoh, academic musician, saxophonist, and saxophone teacher, graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under the mentorship of Professor Matjaž Drevenšek. Currently, he teaches saxophone at both primary and secondary music schools, where he passionately guides his students on their musical journeys. As an outstanding performer who regularly captivates audiences on concert stages at home and around the world, Tomaž lives his musical dreams. His home is in the Karst region, in the heart of a mystical landscape surrounded by enigmatic karst caves, sinkholes, and disappearing streams, serving as an endless source of inspiration. His melodies echo the vibrant essence of the Karst, imbued with the life force and artistic spirit nurtured by his surroundings.

Tomaž and I have know each other for a very long time and he also often performs at Dvorec Zemono. I know he is just as passionate about music as I am passionate about food. Recently, he told me that he has created a project where he wants to connect music and food. I find it very interesting as I think culinary arts and music are very much connected and that they have no limits. There is this endless exploration in both that keeps you going.
